My UX creative process

Taking a human-centered approach to product or service development and crafting an experience around the needs, and desires of the target audience

UX methodologies are ways of generating insights about users, their behavior, motivations, and needs. Each project requires different methods to identify challenges and opportunities to improve the user experience. I like to organize these methods using the design thinking process stages: Empathy, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test.

Below are a few examples of some of the UX methodologies and documentation I use during my creative process.

1. Discovery and research

Understand the business goals and analyze user behaviors and needs

I gather information about our target users, their needs, goals, and pain points. I use methods such as user interviews, surveys, and market analysis to collect data.

  • Set the vision

  • Brand & product immersion

  • Usability analysis

  • Competitive analysis

  • Content audit

  • User profiles

2. Strategy

Translating strategic vision into requirements

I evaluate a range of factors, including user needs, business objectives, usability principles, and technological capabilities. This analysis guides me in selecting the most suitable channels and tactics to design and manage the user experience across our digital platforms. Furthermore, I prioritize ongoing strategy refinement to ensure a seamless and impactful experience for our users.

  • Requirements gathering

  • UX strategy

  • Personal development

  • User flows, stories and tasks

  • Ideation working sessions

3. Implement

Prototype, iterate, build and design

I leverage our business requirements, strategy, and user insights to shape the information architecture, develop content maps, and construct wireframes that seamlessly translate gathered information into user-friendly and engaging experiences. Once the design is finalized, it is passed to developers for implementation. Close collaboration between designers and developers is essential to effectively bring the design vision to life.

4. Deploy

Test, review, and launch

Deployment can vary in complexity depending on factors such as the size of the website or application, the technology stack used, and the specific requirements of the project. Effective web deployment is essential to ensure that our users can access and interact with the website, application, or product reliably and securely.

  • Beta testing

  • Review objectives

  • Usability testing

  • Launch

5. Measure, optimize

Measure, iterate, and re-deploy

After a product is launched, ongoing monitoring and evaluation are necessary to gather user feedback, track performance metrics, and identify areas for further optimization.

  • Iterate design

  • Review metrics

  • Iterate code

  • Re-deploy
